A full two-story repaint on a rural Baker County home — warm gray body, bright white trim, and every gable reached properly from a lift instead of a stretched ladder.
Service: Exterior Painting. Area: Baker County, FL.
The Problem
Years of North Florida sun and humidity had faded the body color and left chalky, dull siding. Second-story gables and soffits were the worst of it, which is exactly where most repaints get rushed.
Prep Work
Pressure wash the full elevation to strip chalking, mildew, and pollen
Scrape and sand any loose or failing coating back to a sound edge
Caulk trim joints, window surrounds, and siding seams
Mask windows, fixtures, and landscaping before any paint is opened
Spot-prime bare and repaired substrate
Finish and Result
Warm gray body with bright white trim for a clean, high-contrast elevation
Two finish coats applied at manufacturer spread rate
Lift work on gables, soffits, and second-floor trim so coverage is even top to bottom
Site cleaned and walked with the homeowner before we packed up
